Good piece of kit

All good with the hex keys, I looked for similar elsewhere but the alternatives were all too tall to fit in the limited area. For what they are I feel they’re expensive but they do the job and I’m happy.

New van so new bars

I have only had this roof rack fitted for about 2 weeks so a little early to assess the quality but it looks and feels well made. Instructions a little basic but if you own a Land Rover and you are looking for a roof rack you probably know how to use a spanner. The on-line video helps. Top tip: Get a couple of 13mm ring spanners on the job - some bolts end up a little close to the frame in places. Impact driver won’t get in the corners and not really needed. The good: Much cheaper than a lot of other Land Rover roof racks. Full length rear roller made of stainless steel looks very promising and works well for loading. 8x4 standard sheet of ply goes on easily, width-wise, overhangs the front or back by more than a foot on length. Things to know: The rack could be a little longer for a 90, perhaps six inches (see picture 1). Probably because it is just the front and back section of the three part rack for a 110. Also, when fitted, the gutter brackets are quite close to the roof / safari windows. The mounting points for these brackets need to be pulled out to the sides as far as they will go and then tightened fully. Looks like it might be too tight as you are fitting it but worked ok for me in the end (see picture 3). Also, my doors have not dropped (quite the opposite) and so on the driver’s side the door does not clear the gutter clamp (and I worry about my paintwork!) For now I have had to fasten the rack using the next cross member back until I can drop the door slightly. (See picture 2) Passenger side door does clear the clamp but only just. All in all five stars for the price and functionality, despite a few niggles getting it well fitted. Took about an hour to fit.

Tried everywhere for new slam lock key, no joy until I got a key off vanarack and it worked on all the locks on my van. Thank you vanarack
